About Me

Brad and I are so excited to be welcoming Baby Oz October 26th, 2012. This year we will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary as a family of 3. We have no idea what to expect on this journey to parenthood, but look forward to sharing as we go. I look forward to having this blog as a way to look back on all the exciting things happening this year. My friend Ashley's sister did this and i think it is a great alternative to posting everything on facebook...not everyone needs to see/read all that! Please, feel free to read and comment as we go. We haven't done this before, so any advice/ tips are welcome! Thanks =)

Two..Two!!! Max is 2

This month has been a busy one already but my favorite month of the year!!!

Why i love OCTOBER!!!!
1.) I LOVE fall weather!!! You can't get better than cool temps and changing leaves...perfect backdrop for fall family pictures. Yep!!! Coming Soon
2.) We celebrate our anniversary in October. October 3, 2009 we were married - as you have read {maybe} we had a weekend celebration of 5...YES 5 Years!!!
3.) Max was born this month two years ago!!! I can't believe that he is so big and grown up. I literally have every emotion while thinking about this...Sad - because he is getting so big :(  Happy - because we get to celebrate another year of his beautiful life  Proud - proud of the little man he is becoming & how stinking smart he is

This year we decided to have two parties and the theme of both was Thomas the Train!!! Although this may seem stressful, it was literally the easiest day - so calm and relaxed. We had his first party with friends, which was sooooo much fun. We had kids from the babysitter and kid of friends that we knew. We had the party at The Little Gym of Springfield where he takes gymnastics classes during the week. I have ranted about this in a previous post so if you haven't yet - check it out! The employees there were amazing - they set everything up for us and ran the entire party. They kept the kids moving and having fun...did i mention they also cleaned up after all of these kiddos. It was simple and so much fun to see all of them smiling and paying. After that i loaded up the decoration and headed home to get ready for Party #2 at my parents house. Max took a nap on the way home and finally got some much needed rest - busy day ahead still. We got all of the decorations out and set up again - easy just to throw it all up & all we had to do was pickup pizza. At this party he got his favorite cupcakes made with love by his aunt Teri <3 He can't get enough of her cupcakes, especially the homemade icing!!! It was so much fun and he even blew out his candle this year - WAY TO GO MAX!!! I could not have asked for a more perfect day for him and can't wait to celebrate many more!!!

Happy Birthday Max Moo!!!
