About Me

Brad and I are so excited to be welcoming Baby Oz October 26th, 2012. This year we will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary as a family of 3. We have no idea what to expect on this journey to parenthood, but look forward to sharing as we go. I look forward to having this blog as a way to look back on all the exciting things happening this year. My friend Ashley's sister did this and i think it is a great alternative to posting everything on facebook...not everyone needs to see/read all that! Please, feel free to read and comment as we go. We haven't done this before, so any advice/ tips are welcome! Thanks =)

A case of the Mondays...

So yesterday was a rough day for my family and I, as we attended my Great Great Aunt Deloris's funeral mass. And yes!!! I did say {great - great} as she would have turned 101 in June! My family is very close and loosing the matriarch of our family at 100 years old was still hard. It was had to imagine not seeing her spunk at Christmas during the gift exchange (she always went for the Fannie May candy) and beating us all at the poker table! Although she has gone home to be with The Lord, these memories still live on. I can only hope that my cousins and I would continue to keep up the gathering and traditions that the older generation had started. A large close knit family means everything to me and I am so happy to be a part of such a wonderful one!

With everything that had gone on Monday - i spent the evening catching up on work emails and putting away over a weekes worth of laundry! While I was in Nashville Brad did the laundry but he doesn't put it away...which let me tell you is for the best! So I sent all night (at least midnight) putting away laundry and cleaning. I am that person who can't/ has trouble going to bed with a messy house. I love waking up and everything being picked up and put away :) Ok type ''A'' personalitys who's with me here?!?!?!

Despite all of this the best part of my day was my little buddy waking up with the most crazy hair I have ever seen!!! Yikes and I think he gets it from me...

We'll I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we are having! We can't wait for the little gym torrow and more sunshine and family time!

And don't be silly it's Margarita Monday!

Cheers!

xoxo,
-g-
